We accept walk ins Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm for urine, breath and oral fluid drug and alcohol testing. For hearing, mask fit testing, medicals and spirometry we require an appointment to ensure the properly trained staff is available.

The POCT (Point of Collection Test) is completed in our office with the results available right away. The Lab based test must be sent away to the lab for testing. This can take up to 3 days for a negative result and up to 5 for a positive result.

Yes, we use Dynacare for our workplace testing. Dynacare is Canada’s only SAMHSA Certified laboratories providing the gold standard in accurate and legally defensible drug testing.

A Chain of Custody (CoC) form is a legally binding document that tracks a biological sample (such as urine, blood, saliva, or hair) from the exact moment it is collected from a donor until its final disposal after testing.

This is one of the top concerns for employees taking prescribed medications that flag a drug screen (such as ADHD, or anxiety medications).
The Role of the MRO: Legitimate workplace drug tests are reviewed by an independent doctor called a Medical Review Officer (MRO).
The Verification Process: If your sample is positive, the MRO will contact you privately before notifying your employer. You will be asked to provide proof of a valid prescription.
The Final Report: If your prescription is legitimate and the dose matches your results, the MRO will typically report the test result to your employer as negative.

No, we don’t required a requisition or a court order to complete testing. You just need to call and book an appointment.

Results are usually available within 5–10 business days after the samples are collected.

Samples are usually collected using a simple and painless cheek swab from each participant. We can also use other samples. Please call the office to discuss which alternate samples would be suitable for testing.
